With society opening up, the economy active and tourism rejuvenated, there is a steadily rising demand for excellent aviation services that will help keep the dynamic business and leisure activities constantly moving all over the Philippines.
Philjets Aero Services Inc. recently appointed Reginald Arguelles as general manager to keep pace with this trend and better serve its growing roster of corporate and individual customers.
Arguelles brings extensive experience and international expertise to the role. Before joining Philjets, he was a technical instructor at the prestigious Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines.
Arguelles spent five years with PAL Express as engineering services and production control manager, then senior manager and AVP.
While there, he was in charge of the technical planning and control, and maintenance and engineering divisions. He also worked for Philippine Airlines in various capacities under the maintenance and engineering department.
He has worked for multinational aviation giants including Thales Avionics in Singapore, Panasonic—Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong and Matsushita Maintenance Services in UAE, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
PASI clients, including Textron Aviation clients, will benefit from the wide breadth of technical excellence and maintenance capabilities that Arguelles brings to the role.
His leadership promises to be bold and trailblazing as PASI aggressively works toward becoming the leading Approved Maintenance Organization in the Philippines.
“The Philippines has a wealth of talent and manpower is customer centric. I plan to help them harness and reach their full potential towards excellent and consistent maintenance service,” said Arguelles.
PASI is the official Textron Aviation Maintenance Center in the Philippines, Safran Helicopter Engine distributor, a Switlik distributor, and the independent representative of Bell Textron.
PASI aims to become the first choice among AMOs in the country by providing excellent services and proximity to owners and operators.
