FORESTPORT, NY – It was a significant day for inhabitants of Forestport Saturday.

For some the wait was pretty much unbearable, but now all the cabinets have been stocked, the flooring cleaned, and the ribbon slice.

Welcome to Bonnie’s State Retail store.

Found on Woodhull Road, Shoppers lined up early, eager to verify items out. “Oh wow”, appeared to be the general consensus.

Co-owners Amy Nelson and Aaron LaBella say they’d been finding phone calls for the previous couple months asking when the retail store would open up. They simply cannot consider the day has finally arrived.

“To start with matter this morning we essentially experienced items on the entrance doorstep,” stated Nelson. “Cards and bouquets were getting dropped off from nearby businesses, congratulating us, and thanking us for bringing this back.
